When do I pay?
When you go live. Building and testing in Practice Round is free for as long as you need.
Is $299 per year or per event?
Per event. Run one tournament a year, pay once a year.
What if my event is small? Or big? What's the catch?
We believe every event deserves the best tools. A corporate open raising hundreds of thousands and a local group raising $6,000 for its community get the exact same software. What you raise should never decide what you get to use.
Are there any platform or transaction fees?
No. ChipIn is $299 per event and that is the whole price. Card processing is separate and runs through your processor, Stripe or PayPal, or through ChipIn Pay.
Do you take a percentage of donations or auction bids?
No. No percentage of anything, ever.
Can I use my existing Stripe or PayPal account?
Yes. Connect it in a few minutes and payouts land there directly.
Can ChipIn process cards for me?
Yes. ChipIn Pay is our managed option for organizations without a Stripe or PayPal account, at 3.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Reach out, we will review your event, and in most cases have you set up within a few days.
Can guests pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear automatically on registration, pay links, and auction checkout for any event taking cards through Stripe or ChipIn Pay. Nothing for you to turn on.
What does Concierge include?
Everything in ChipIn, plus we build your event site from your materials, load sponsors, auction items, and registration options, configure payments, test your checkout, and walk you through it on a call before launch. $599 per event.
