Do bidders need an app?
No. Bidding runs in the phone browser from a link or QR code.
Can people who are not at the event bid?
Yes. Anyone with the link can register as a bidder and bid from anywhere.
How are winners charged?
If a card was captured at registration, it is charged automatically when the auction closes. Otherwise the winner receives a payment link.
Do winners get a tax receipt?
Yes. The winner email shows the winning bid, the item's fair market value, and the portion above fair market value, with your organization's name and EIN in the footer.
What about bidders who don't win?
They can pledge a donation on the spot, and it lands in your donations like any other gift.
